In just 3 years, Wonder Women has supported 97 women at mid-senior level through the Wonder Women Mentoring Programme.

98% remain working in the sector and at a more senior level after participating in our year-long mentoring programme!

Over 1100 women have attended our live events and attendees have told us they’ve made friends, found mentors and even secured jobs from attending!

In July 2025, Ria will be awarded an honorary degree from Brunel University in recognition of her impact in improving Diversity, Inclusion and Equality for women who work in Television.

Our Legacy

Success

Our work is making positive social impact to the lives and careers of diverse women who work at mid-senior level in Television and the Creative Industries and improving social mobility in the sector.

After another exceptionally challenging year, our programme has not only retained those who are most at risk of leaving in the current economic climate but elevated these women into more senior positions.

This programme has changed me as a person. It has made me believe in myself, have self-worth and feel proud of what I've achieved. Thank you so much, it has been the best experience ever and I feel very lucky to have been a Wonder Women mentee.”

Michelle Eagleton, TV Presenter

“This scheme has made me feel connected to an industry I love, at a time when it’s so disconnected. I’ve made life-long friends. My network is now bigger than ever. The insights from these incredible legends in TV are priceless..”

“As a young girl growing up in Yorkshire, I used to dream of making movies. To now find myself having series-directed a new period drama-documentary about regency England for the BBC, is an absolute dream come true! I feel huge amounts of gratitude to my Wonder Women community for cheering me on.”

Ali Naushahi, Director

“I’ll apply what I’ve learned on Wonder Women at every step of the way, especially when meeting new people. I’ve realised that I need to back myself more, because I’m actually better than I think I am! The speakers overall were quite incredible. Ria’s energy is infectious!”
