  • Ade Rawcliffe Group Director of Diversity and Inclusion at ITV

    Ade Rawcliffe is also a member of the ITV Management Board. She has responsibility for all diversity and inclusion related matters across the Group, including leading, developing and growing ITV’s Global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategy, both on and off screen.

    Rawcliffe was also part of the team responsible for C4’s coverage of Rio 2016 Paralympics and London 2012 Paralympics, which broke records for employing disabled presenters and production staff. Ade has also worked in the Features Commissioning team at C4 and as Television Producer at the BBC, ITV and in the independent sector working on shows including: Big Brother, The Big Breakfast and This Morning.

    Ade sits on the Board of ITN, BAFTA - chairing their Learning, Inclusion & Talent committee - and is a Founding Board Member of Times Up UK.

  • Afua Hagan Journalist &. Broadcaster

    Opinionated, charismatic and provocative – Afua Hagan is one of the leading voices on diversity in Britain.

    A TV News Anchor, Commentator, Journalist and award-winning Broadcaster, Afua is in high demand, regularly appearing on ITV’s This Morning, Good Morning Britain, Jeremy Vine on Channel 5, the BBC, Sky, CTV, NBC, News Central and CNN. She has been a Presenter for TalkTV, the Royal Commentator for CTV News, International Correspondent for News Central Africa and the Managing Editor of Black Business Magazine.

    Afua also appears on STV, Yanga! TV, LBC, Times Radio and BBC News and has been honoured for her work in Broadcasting by the Black Women in Business Awards and the Women 4Africa Awards. In 2024, she delivered a hugely successful TEDx Talk on Diversity and Inclusion, titled “Too Dark for Daytime TV” - a must watch!

  • Angela Ferreira Television Executive and DEI Ambassador at Banijay

    Angela is one of the most senior black females in the UK creative industries with an extensive catalogue of credits from over 25 years in the industry. She is currently the Managing Director of Douglas Road Productions where she is gaining a reputation as ‘the teller of untold stories’.

  • Babita Bahal Group Head of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Fremantle UK

    As part of Fremantle’s Global Leadership Team, Babita partners with business leaders and producers to inspire creative and cultural inclusion, and authentic storytelling. She works to elevate talent working in Film and TV to support the next generation of storytellers, programme-makers, and business professionals.

  • Clare Mottershead Head of Factual & Formats

    Clare oversees Orchard’s factual and formats slate, leading projects in development and production, and Executive Producing key titles. Before joining Orchard, she was the BBC’s Lead Commissioner in the Factual-Entertainment and Events team where she oversaw more than 30 shows.

  • Dawn Beresford Director of Talent & Skills, BBC Commissioning

    Dawn Beresford is Director of Talent and Skills, BBC Commissioning. She is responsible for developing and leading plans to drive the strategy for commissioning roles at the BBC, working closely with the Senior creative team, along with Indie Relations, Resourcing and Creative Diversity to support a holistic approach to off-screen talent across the Content group. Dawn also works with external partners to support the short and long-term health of skills and culture across the UK’s creative industries. Previously Dawn was at independent producers CPL Productions and Arrow International Media, and has a huge range of experience across the media industry in roles across talent development, commissioning and production, and has provided training and consultancy to a wide range of companies and bodies across TV and Radio.

  • Fozia Khan Head of Unscripted Amazon Studios UK

    Fozia oversees a varied slate including All or Nothing: Arsenal, Clarkson’s Farm, The Fake Sheikh and upcoming, 007’s Road to a Million. Prior to joining Amazon, she was a Commissioning Editor for documentaries at Channel 4 and prior to commissioning, was a documentary director and producer for 16 years.

  • Gemma John-Lewis Entertainment Commissioning Editor, ITV

    Gemma has worked in Commissioning at ITV for more than eight years. During this time she has been across a range of studio and location based titles, both live and pre-recorded, within the Comedy, Entertainment, Factual Entertainment and Reality genres for ITV's channels and platforms. 

    Gemma has helped to develop successful returning shows such as The Big Soap Quiz, produced by Lifted Entertainment in Manchester, and the UK’s first comedy panel show, Sorry, I Didn't Know, dedicated to Black History, produced by Triforce Productions. Gemma also looks after successful returning shows such as Celebrity Catchphrase from STV, The Jonathan Ross Show, The Brits Red Carpet Show and The Olivier Awards.

  • Hilary Rosen Director of Commissioning, UKTV

    Hilary Rosen leads UKTV’s award-winning team of commissioners, overseeing all of UKTV's original unscripted and scripted content. Hilary and her team have commissioned breakout hits Emma Willis: Delivering BabiesGemma & Gorka: Life Behind The LensKatherine Ryan: Parental Guidance Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over, the double BAFTA-winning Big Zuu's Big Eats and the BangersandCash franchise. Her team has also delivered the hit scripted shows The Marlow Murder ClubAnnika and We Hunt Together and Hilary herself has commissioned some of UKTV's biggest successes including BAFTA-winning show Taskmaster and award-winning Mel Giedroyc: Unforgivable.

  • Lyndsay Duthie CEO of The Production Guild of Great Britain

    Lyndsay has over 25 years experience as a senior leader in the creative industries. With a background in television production for BBC, ITV, C4, SKY and education. Lyndsay’s academic career led her to become Professor of Media and the Head of School for Film, Media and Performing Arts at the University for the Creative Arts, as well as the co-author of (Bloomsbury’s) The TV Studio Production Handbook.

  • Mariayah Kaderbhai Head of Programmes, BAFTA

    Mariayah is BAFTA’s head of programmes, where she oversees industry events and initiatives across film, games and television. Her work includes research and policy to ensure the screen industries become more inclusive on and off screen. She authored BAFTA’s social mobility resource Invisible Barriers, a guide to assist hirers in the screen industries to support individuals from low socio-economic backgrounds. She recently completed her MA in Media and the Middle East at SOAS, University of London, with her thesis focused on the representation of Muslims on British television. Kaderbhai’s research fed into USC Annenberg’s 2021 study Missing & Maligned: The Reality of Muslims in Popular Global Movies

    She has also worked on Al Jazeera’s The Fabulous Picture Show as a producer/journalist.

    Kaderbhai has interviewed screen greats such as Riz Ahmed, Timothée Chalamet, Olivia Colman, Ryan Coogler, Benedict Cumberbatch, Stephen Graham, Tom Hanks, Anthony Hopkins, Toby Jones, Daniel Kaluuya, Nicole Kidman, Spike Lee, Mira Nair, Joanna Scanlan, Michael Ward and Penelope Cruz among many more.

  • Michelle Moore Leadership Coach

  • Remi Olajoyegbe

    Remi works with C-Suite leaders and their executive teams, to support women as they rise, equipping them with the tools to lead from their most strengthened position. Prior to coaching, Remi led the Equity Capital Markets Syndicate Desk at Goldman Sachs, as MD and Global Head of Equity Syndicate at Renaissance. Remi was Voted Top 100 Women in European Finance, Financial News City's 100 Rising Stars and is one of the BBC’s BAME Expert Voices where she first met Ria.

    Joining the Wonder Women advisory board in 2018, Remi has since supported hundreds of women on the Wonder Women Mentoring Programme and at the inaugural conference at BAFTA delivering her transformative masterclass on Resilience and Ancestral history.

  • Ria Hebden TV Presenter & Wonder Women CIC Founder & CEO

    Ria is a television presenter, the Founder /CEO of Wonder Women CIC and founder of production company Carpe Diem Media Productions. Passionate about telling stories that celebrate diversity, champion women and inspire the next generation Ria founded community interest company Wonder Women TV, which is an inspirational women's network that elevates diverse women who work in Television and the Creative Industries in 2017.

    Ria produces all of Wonder Women’s live events and creative, in addition to spearheading the brand's strategic vision.

    Ria is also a seasoned events host and moderator for film premieres and industry awards, working with companies including Cannes Lions, Disney, ScreenSkills, MIPCOM and PromaxUK.

  • Sarb Nijjer COO Banijay

    Sarb joined Banijay UK Productions in July 2023 after leaving the BBC where she was Finance Director for BBC Content. In her role as COO, Sarb is responsible for driving forward the Banijay UK strategy alongside CEO and Executive Chairman, Patrick Holland. As well as managing collaborations across the wider Banijay group, Sarb plays a vital role in future investment opportunities, whether through M&A or start-ups.

    Sarb is highly commercial with extensive experience within large corporates of supporting the development of long-term financial strategy and target setting for creative and commercial organisations. She has extensive knowledge of content funding models across both unscripted and scripted genres and ad sales deal negotiations, and a demonstrated history of working in the broadcast media industry through holding a variety of senior finance roles at Channel 5, Viacom, Channel 4 and the BBC.

  • Scarlett Ewens CEO Matisse

    Scarlett began her career in television production in 2007, firstly as a freelance Production Manager across Grand Designs and Kill It, Cook It, Eat It, and she line-produced the multi-award-winning series The Family. In 2010, she joined Nick Curwin and Magnus Temple in launching The Garden Productions as Managing Director overseeing all day to day running of the business, its operations and commercial strategy. Scarlett was responsible for maximising the company’s revenue through traditional production creation and the exploitation of IP. 

    As Head of Production, she had oversight of some of the UK’s largest factual series including 24 Hours in A&E, Keeping Britain Alive and 24 Hours in Police Custody. 

    In 2019, Scarlett launched media consultancy Matisse with Nick Curwin. Matisse provides bespoke and hands-on commercial, strategic and creative advice to the indie sector.

  • Soleta Rogan MD, Rogan Productions

    Soleta began her career working for nearly 10 years in retail sales and marketing. With a background focus in operations and brand management, she co-founded the indie Rogan Productions in 2013, with a vision of delivering high-end films for broadcast and not-for broadcast content.

    In addition to her operational responsibilities, Soleta performs Executive Producer and Production Executive roles across the production slate, which most recently include critically acclaimed documentaries such as Channel 4's Defiance: Fighting the Far Right, BBC Two's Freddie Mercury: The Final Act and BBC One's Signs for Change with Rose Ayling-Ellis.

    At the same time, Soleta drives younger, sister brand Rogan Digital, delivering content for commercially funded broadcast and advertising projects for brands, major communications agencies and NGOs, as well as overseeing Rogan Scotland which has enjoyed recent success with Becoming Frida Kahlo.

  • Tacita Small Founder of The Small HR Company

    As a senior HR leader within her field, Tacita worked ‘in-house’ for over two decades with many instantly recognisable brands including Westfield, The Walt Disney Company, Apple, Ministry of Sound, Fremantle, and BBC worldwide to name a few.

    Founded in 2019, The Small HR Company is HR Consultancy that supports businesses within the UK creative and entertainment industries, with all aspects of their HR needs, supporting them in achieving their goals around people, culture, performance, and productivity.

    Bringing this amalgamation of experience, Tacita started a consultancy that brings modern and creative HR practices to various organisation predominantly Film, TV, and Theatre in various ways including but not limited to Improving workplace culture and engagement, understanding mental health and wellbeing in the workplace, and inclusion & belonging.

    Tacita’s mission, through her business, is to ensure that the creative and entertainment industries move towards a place where good HR and people practices are the norm and everyone working within enjoy transparent, honest, collaborative, and supportive working conditions.

  • Tara Erer Head of Originals, UK & Northern Europe, Prime Video

    Tara Erer is responsible for Prime Video’s original film and television teams in the UK, Germany, Benelux, Nordics and Eastern Europe.

    Erer oversees the original content slate for Amazon MGM Studios across Northern Europe including unscripted titles like The Grand Tour, Clarkson’s Farm, and scripted titles like Malice, The Rig and The Devil’s Hour and movies such as My Fault London and Deep Cover. Erer also spearheads Prime Video Pathway, a £10M initiative to grow, upskill and diversity the UK’s film and television workforce.

    Erer took on this role in September 2023, having previously been the company’s Head of Local Original Movies where she worked with teams around the world on titles like Culpa Mia, Sayen and the Golden Globe winning Argentina, 1985.

    Erer joined Amazon in 2017 from FilmNation, where she was SVP of International Sales, overseeing sales of multiple award-winning and critically-acclaimed titles like The King’s Speech, The Imitation Game, Arrival, Room, Sebastián Lelio’s Disobedience and Pedro Almodóvar’s Dolor Y Gloria.
